Thank you for this! I whole heartedly agree that we need to be more feminine but in the day to day I easily forget. Thank you for the reminder!!

At this point I don’t even know what femininity is! I don’t want to be an old fashioned Disney princess where I need a man’s aid for every little task but I also don’t want to be emasculating. Where is the middle road?

Peg Bracken was an author whose books poked fun at housewifery while providing both excellent recipes and housekeeping hints. One of them featured a quote I never forgot, when it comes to dresses, they should be tight enough to show you are a woman, loose enough to show you are a lady.

Good advice that I have followed. I think DRESSING is such an easy way to express femininity. She-Male attire, sloppy clothes, ripped jeans (truly the stupidest, ugliest and most unflattering style) or streetwalker wear are not feminine.

It astonishes me how so many don’t even try.
