Ha ha ha! That's a perfect line --- and a perfect comparison. The one thing that makes me laugh a lot about having a starter is how much it always wants to eat. My, oh my, that thing is a hungry boy!
I actually got a starter from a friend about two days before you started these posts :(, so I am not making my own. Do you think I could still follow your directions on the "not needing much attention" part, though?
