My dad is the master of the nap you describe and he can wake up from a 5 minute power nap totally revived! He says he learned how from his father, who had 11 children. Necessary skills 😉
I think men are good at it, in part because they have the sense that the women will keep things going while they check out LOL
But moms can arrange things so that they can get the needed 20 minutes. It doesn't always work and that can be frustrating. Like anything else, it takes practice!
LOL indeed! I hadn’t thought of that but I think you must be right. Also, the dads can somehow play the “log” game where they lie down on the floor while playing with kids who are leaping and jumping over them, and still get a quick nap! Haha! Mom not so much, in my experience …
Yes, I think the frustration effect is real, but even if it works out 6/10 tries, it’s worth it!
