We are currently imposing several dangerous experiments on our children, any of which should be seen, common-sense-wise, as so harmful that the trial should be immediately stopped.
But the sad state of respect for housewifery makes even the most elemental, primal imperative — protecting the young — nigh impossible to carry out.
One such experiment is giving children digital devices with which to spend virtually all or even some of their time, in play, communication, education, rest; when really, they should have virtually no exposure whatsoever.
Apart from the occasional little movie or show (at most a few times a week), staring into a screen and interacting with unknown, unseen entities is obviously incredibly detrimental to children’s formation. Connecting them to the internet via social media apps is, frankly, child abuse.
Please allow me to state this without qualification: Young children, teens — they must not be experimented on in this uniquely unprecedented manner!
Only the housewife can offer her children (not to mention the neighbors’) a screen-free, “unconnected,” life for one reason: she’s there. She has the time, the mental space, and the freedom to provide a normal environment for children.
Without the housewife, the very nature of childhood — and therefore of mankind — is under attack.
As with everything here at the SFH, the best thing is for you to take my ideas, which come from my experience of escaping feminism to enjoy the gift of 45 years of marriage, seven children, and more than a score of grandchildren, and apply them to your situation with discernment, prudence, and confidence — and a sense of humor!
